The ring has both a thickness and width of between 2.0 and 2.2 mm and displays squared edges and a broad surface area when viewed in profile. The band tapers gracefully to a point on both sides where it meets the side stones.

The pear-shaped diamonds featured here are of exceptional quality. With a color rating of G-H, they are in the uppermost range of near colorless and appear dazzling white to the eye. They have a clarity of VS2 to SI1, meaning there are very small inclusions that are difficult to see under 10x magnification, and impossible to see with the unaided eye. They are held securely in three-prong settings with standard and V-shaped prongs.

A custom jeweler will be able to resize this ring. It is a normal process to then tighten the settings to ensure the stability of your gemstones.

Overall, the band is very pretty and a good value for the money. The side stones go well with my wife's .8ct stone with an I color. Our only complaint is the prongs, they are somewhat sharp on the edges and it hurts when you scrape it against skin, espeically when holding hands. I am going to take it to a friend and see if he can smooth it out somewhat.

I received a few great buys from Amazon on jewelry, but these earrings didn't measure up to what I was expecting. The best way to describe the earrings I received is that they are dull. There is no glimmer in them whatsoever. Being fairly inexpensive, I thought they'd at least have a little life in them, but they don't. I'd have been better off with CZs.

I loved these earrings, but also noticed that the backs were tiny. I didn't have a problem putting them on or taking them off, but yesterday one of them fell out sometime during the afternoon. It's gone -- probably never to be found. These are pretty, but be sure to use your own larger backs.

The earrings are very bright and sparkly. Lots of light play throughout the stones. The pair I received are not cloudy at all. I fooled my ignorant husband into thinking they are CZ (He likes that price better). These earrings could easily cost twice as much. As stated in other reviews; the backs are not tight enough. I would have scored these 5 stars except for that fact.

Hey.. just wanted to say i was extremely surprised at how fast the shipping of this product was.I did not expect it until after xmas.Probably one of the fastest shipping processes. however i was extremely dissapointed when i saw the ring.Keeping in mind that this ring was $1791.40 and was on sale for $399. you would expect to see a $1791.40 value.There is no way this ring could be anywhere worth that.The ring was a big dissapointment and i had to pay an additional $160.usd to modify it. The ring shank was way to thin.The diamonds were 3 diamonds TOTALING 1/2 carat, though the diamonds tested "A" Grade in Quality. To Potential buyers the ring looked nothing like the picture online. it is much thinner and you should probably ask the company to email you an actual picture or dimensions.

These diamonds are a great gift until your wife/girlfriend/lover opens the box to find diamonds that look more like old ice than diamonds. They are black in nature and cloudy at best. But, like the above said, they go on your ears, so who realy cares?

When I gave them to my sister, she was thrilled with them. The very negative review must have been from a jeweler with a loop.
